Job Summary

We are seeking an Analyst to join a leading regional bank on a 12-month contract, providing front-office systems support for Bloomberg AIM and other investment platforms. The role supports day-to-day system operations, user assistance, and basic platform administration for portfolio managers, traders, and investment teams.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field;
• Must have 2 years’ experience in front-office systems support, trading platform support, or investment systems;
• Must have understanding of Bloomberg AIM or similar front-office platforms;
• Strong communication and documentation skills to liaise with business and vendor teams;
• Comfortable with BAU support, user queries, and simple functional troubleshooting.

Desired Skill-set

• Exposure to asset management / buy-side processes;
• Experience with FactSet or other market data platform exposure;
• Exposure to market data feed and license management;
• Basic understanding of investment products and order workflows;
• Hands‑on experience with UAT testing or system enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily BAU support for Bloomberg AIM, Bloomberg Terminal functions, and investment platforms (e.g. FactSet);
• Assist front‑office users (PMs, traders, analysts) with system queries, entitlements, workflows, and troubleshooting;
• Support platform administration tasks, including user access and data validation;
• Work with investment teams to understand business requirements and translate them into simple functional or system requests;
• Coordinate with Bloomberg / external vendors on incidents, updates, licenses, and market data feeds;
• Track issues, elevate when needed, and ensure smooth platform performance;
• Support periodic upgrades, testing, and user verification (UAT‑lite).
