Job description

Our client is a confidential global investment firm with a strong track record across public markets, private equity, private credit and alternatives. As part of its continued expansion in Asia, the firm is building a dedicated Private Wealth business to deepen engagement with UHNW individuals, family offices and next-generation decision makers. The firm operates with a disciplined investment philosophy, long-term capital orientation, and a high-touch relationship model.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Private Wealth business in Singapore with full responsibility for commercial strategy, client growth and platform development.
• Drive AUM growth through UHNW and family office relationships, leveraging the firm’s suite of funds, alternatives, private deals and co-investment opportunities.
• Build, mentor and lead a team of senior relationship managers as the platform scales across Asia.
• Strengthen product architecture, governance and suitability frameworks in alignment with regulatory expectations.
• Partner with investment, product and distribution teams to develop tailored wealth solutions and thematic offerings.
• Represent the Private Wealth franchise to key clients, intermediaries, partners and internal committees.
• Oversee onboarding, due diligence, KYC/AML, and risk management processes for the wealth business.
• Drive market penetration through strategic initiatives such as family office outreach, next-gen programmes, and ecosystem partnerships.

Experience

• At least 15–20 years in private banking, wealth management or UHNW coverage, with a strong track record of advising family offices and senior principals.
• Proven leadership experience in a platform-building or market-head role.
• Deep understanding of funds, alternatives, private deals and multi-asset portfolios.
• Strong network with UHNW families, family offices, entrepreneurs and business owners in Asia.
• Experience setting up or scaling a wealth business is highly preferred.
• Strategic, commercially driven, and effective in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the credibility to engage at principal and board level.
