Job summary

Job Summary

Lead the development and execution of strategic business plans across APAC and Oceania to drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and organizational transformation while managing financial performance and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies and long‑term growth plans aligned with corporate objectives across APAC and Oceania
  • Establish and maintain corporate governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management
  • Formulate and monitor short and mid‑term strategies to track progress and drive organizational transformation and change initiatives
  • Assume full P&L accountability by managing budgeting, forecasting, sales planning, profit targets, and expense control to optimise financial performance
  • Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance business performance and explore new market opportunities
  • Provide leadership, talent development and succession planning
  • Oversee HR functions including personnel management, attendance tracking, and health management to support workforce effectiveness
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, strategic partners, customers, and headquarters to support business objectives
  • Represent the company in executive‑level negotiations, regional meetings, and strategic forums to influence decision‑making and advance company interests
  • Frequent travel across APAC and Oceania as required
Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience (preferably experience in senior leadership roles managing multi‑country operations)
  • Proven track record in regional business operations, financial performance, and governance
  • Industry experience in semiconductor components, electronic components, and electrical unit products
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, P&L management, business expansion, and executive leadership
  • Experience working in a Japanese corporate environment with understanding of operational practices and business etiquette
  • Language proficiency:
    • English (mandatory, primary business language)
    • Japanese (business level, JLPT N1 or equivalent)
    • Chinese (business level)
