Qualifications

As part of Ramboll, we can offer the opportunity to work in a leading international consultancy on a range of interesting projects in Singapore and internationally, in an inclusive and high-performing environment. The role will be based from our Singapore office, on a full-time basis.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Environmental data collection and interpretation, modelling, impact assessment, monitoring and management
  • Environmental site assessments, inspections, monitoring and performance reviews during pre-construction / site development / construction phase
  • E&S due diligence for project finance
  • Report writing and preparation of figures, including drafting and/or reviewing chapters
  • Preparation of and training clients in Environmental Monitoring and Management Plans
  • Client and project team liaison

We are looking for someone who is keen to work on a diversity of projects and in a variety of sectors to enhance environmental performance and sustainability. You will become part of our growing Impact Assessment team, focusing on identifying, analysing and managing environmental and social risks and impacts. This encompasses scoping and planning baseline studies, conducting fieldwork, data analysis, modelling and visual representation of technical data, developing management plans, providing guidance to clients, among others. Thematically, we are looking for someone with an existing and / or emergent expertise in the following areas – environmental management; social impact; stakeholder engagement; biodiversity; water resources; air quality; noise; ESG; and climate risk.

Qualifications

From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (environmental, engineering, science) and 10+ years of qualifying experience.
  • Master’s degree in an environmental discipline (advantageous)
  • Experience in SE Asia regulatory regimes and international lender standards including IFC Performance Standards, WB Environment and Social Standards, the Equator Principles or other similar frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of local regulatory frameworks and track record of providing consulting advisory services across key sectors such as renewables, agri-commodities, heavy industry
  • A willingness to travel and be an active member of our team developing our business in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Excellent English language (spoken and written). Fluency of at least one Asian language (Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia etc).
