Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans using Rapid7 InsightVM and other tools to identify potential weaknesses in our systems and networks.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of scan results to prioritize remediation efforts based on severity and business impact.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely patching and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to vulnerability management processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and industry best practices in vulnerability management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior security staff members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, preferably within a financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and system administration skills.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Rapid 7, Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
