Job summary

A government-linked institute in Singapore seeks a policy manager to oversee and enhance funding programme policies and grant schemes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation, analytical, writing, and communication skills, with around 5-8 years of experience in policy work, preferably in the Singapore public service. The role requires balancing interests and objectives while managing funds effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years' experience in policy work, preferably in Singapore public service.
  • Meticulous, self-driven, able to multi-task and work fast-paced.
  • Open to applicants without relevant experience but willing to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee shaping and enhancing of funding programme policies and grant schemes.
  • Understand integration of government funding schemes into e2i's programmes.
  • Balance e2i's interests with stakeholders' objectives when managing funds.

Job description

You will be part of the team which oversees the shaping and enhancing of funding programme policies and grant schemes administered by e2i. You need to understand how various government funding schemes integrate into e2i’s programmes, and how e2i’s programmes contribute towards enabling employment and employability outcomes. As a strong negotiator, you are required to balance e2i’s interests while meeting stakeholders’ objectives when managing funds and programmes.
