Asst Manager/ Manager, Product Distribution Strategy

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a blend of creativity and analytical prowess. They must be capable of developing compelling product propositions and storytelling that resonate with both distribution and customers developing innovative sales ideas and propositions, while also having the analytical skills necessary to interpret sales data and uncover growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Shape Product Propositions & Storytelling: Craft and refine product propositions that clearly articulate the product’s value from a distribution and customer perspective, leveraging insights on customer needs and distribution priorities. Develop narratives and message maps that resonate with different channels and segments
  • Drive Stakeholder Buy-In: Prepare tailored presentations and materials for various stakeholders (Distribution, Marketing, Product, Compliance) to secure alignment and support. Facilitate feedback loops and translate stakeholder input into actionable recommendations for product planning
  • Support Go‑to‑Market Execution: Work cross‑functionally to support product launches, partnering closely with Distribution on readiness and enablement, and ensuring alignment with Marketing to amplify messaging across channels. Deliver sales toolkits, FAQs, and training content to equip frontline teams
  • Enhance Sales Performance: Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement targeted strategies to optimize overall performance
  • Campaign Management: Assist in the development and execution of campaign and fulfilment strategies. Ensure that campaigns are effectively communicated and delivered to maximize impact and engagement.
  • Develop Product Propositions: Craft and fine‑tune product propositions that effectively communicate the unique value and benefits of our offerings, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and target market needs
  • Manage Product Communication: Oversee the Product mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries. Handle product‑related communications to maintain clear and effective dialogue with stakeholders and financial representatives
  • Continuous Insight Gathering: Stay connected with Distribution and Marketing stakeholders to capture ongoing input and feedback, translating these insights into product proposition improvements and informing future product planning
Qualifications and Skills
  • A Diploma or Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Min 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a deep understanding of insurance products.
  • Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and communication verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in articulating complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Team player with Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with an aptitude for fostering collaborative relationships across functions.
  • Highly resourceful, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is essential; familiarity with Canva and Adobe programs is an added advantage.
