Institution: National University Health System

The NUHS Regional Health System Office (RHSO) is part of the National University Health System (NUHS), a leading academic health system and one of three public healthcare clusters in Singapore. Leveraging its position within an academic health system and drawing on the system’s research and education capabilities, RHSO strives to build a healthy and engaged population in the west, empowered to live and age well in their homes and within the community.

Through a multi-pronged approach, RHSO brings together NUHS institutions, as well as community health and social care partners to develop and implement initiatives to improve health and anchor care in the community. RHSO also facilitates the integration and transition of care between the hospital and community, as well as the development of new capabilities to deliver care in the most appropriate setting.

Your role is both strategic and hands-on, providing full cycle of HR support to RHSO. This role will work with business leaders and HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) to execute HR initiatives and drive HR functional excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, providing guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance and development issues.
  • Provide advice and guidelines on interpretation of HR policies and procedures spanning across manpower planning, recruitment, performance management and learning and development.
  • Collaborate with HR CoE and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery of HR projects and initiatives.
  • Lead in people engagement initiatives and activities (e.g. Employee Engagement and Pulse surveys)
  • Support organizational development strategies such as change management, team building and coaching.
  • Manage and develop members within HR team.
  • Support the Head of HR in the preparation of materials for HOD meetings and submissions to both internal and external stakeholders.
Attributes:
  • Bachelor Degree from an established University in Human Resource or Business Management related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience. Experience in the healthcare sector, while not a pre-requisite, will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
