Job description

This role is responsible for all consumer and partner marketing. This person will lead the execution of marketing strategies across brand awareness campaigns, new launches (e.g., content, product), promotions of key franchises, work with partners to drive acquisition and loyalty campaigns, conceptualize events and develop brand-centric activities, and oversee branding and promotions of events. This role also requires the individual to build influencer relationships, develop marketing partnerships and pro‑social campaigns, and evaluate all campaign results. This individual is required to safeguard the brand, guidelines, and processes across all Nickelodeon/Paramount and partner‑created campaigns. This role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing, Asia in the region and works closely with the various internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the marketing plans and execution for Nickelodeon brands in the Southeast Asia region
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Nickelodeon business and market landscape. Provide detail and perspective through market segmentation, positioning, trends, and opportunities
  • Ensure marketing budget, processes, assets, and production timelines are in alignment with marketing strategies
  • Ensure a consistent strong brand image across all platforms, and that brand guidelines are met across all creatives and partners’ creatives
  • Work with influencers to further increase engagement and brand awareness on key IP, events, and tentpoles
  • Drive consumer acquisition, retention, sales incentive programs, and brand affinity with partners (e.g., affiliates, telcos)
  • Maximise monetization potential by leveraging on licensees to drive brand promotions and create partner extensions
  • Support all lines of businesses to drive overall business revenues and goals
  • Partner with Digital to execute plans that increase social conversations on social media platforms
  • Conceptualize, develop, and execute effective branded on‑ground activations targeting new and existing subscribers. Also identify ways to integrate partners in on‑ground activations
  • Successfully plan and execute event promotions on all owned or paid platforms to drive awareness, and maximize attendances
  • Develop campaign keyart and all collateral artwork with designer
  • Manage and grow email database and retarget customers
  • Develop and execute Nickelodeon pro social campaigns
  • Provide marketing support for Paramount brands
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing & Communications, or Business Management related with a minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing and social media/brand management experience
  • Highly organized, collaborative self‑starter with the ability to work under pressure, set priorities, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to adapt and manage change
  • A Results oriented and consumer focused individual, with a passion for animation and kids’ industry
  • Experience in managing budgets, with strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in a 2nd language is an advantage
  • Well‑versed in managing relationships with external partners, influencers, and collaborating internally across a variety of teams
  • Strong interpersonal and prioritization skills with the ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically – contributing fresh new ideas to marketing campaigns
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with close attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and key computer programs
