Overview

This role will report directly to the Director, Learning Experience - APAC, and other members of the Learning Experience and Talent team in utilizing the principles of adult learning to deliver Hilton’s signature enterprise and brand learning programs through in-person facilitation, virtual facilitation, and technical production. Select opportunities may arise to support the full learning cycle by assisting the project management office and program owners in learning program design and analysis.

Facilitation
  • Facilitate and deliver virtual and classroom learning events, utilizing a variety of skills and abilities, including demonstration, knowledge sharing, motivation, consultation, coaching and support
  • Be able to deliver engaging virtual learning sessions, manage technical troubleshooting; proactively identify learning needs and share the learning needs to the team clearly
  • Conduct virtual-led learning programs for new hotel openings to support the expansion of hotels across the APAC region and on occasion in person if approved
  • Become certified to deliver all enterprise learning programs supported by the Learning Experience team
  • Create an environment to enhance team members knowledge and allow for application of learning
  • Make applicable adjustments to training delivery to accommodate and respect local customs or business practices
  • Invest dedicated time for preparation, self-development and remaining current with industry standards for learning experience facilitation
  • Partner with leaders, internal and external subject matter experts to understand performance expectations to achieve intended learning objectives
  • Conduct peer observations and share results as required to enhance overall team performance
  • Share program results and key observations with the Director, Learning Experience - APAC and other stakeholders
Program Production
  • Working proficiency with following virtual learning platforms: Webex Meeting and Microsoft Teams
  • Enhance the learner experience and support the facilitator by managing the technical requirements during virtual sessions
  • Demonstrate proficiency with platform features (feedback, chat, whiteboard, screen share, breakouts, etc.)
  • Coordinate and conduct Webex rehearsals with program facilitator and other presenters as needed
  • Prepare the virtual room in advance - ensure all layouts, materials, breakouts, and activity plans are pre‑loaded and ready
  • Engage and help focus the participants by annotating and highlighting key points on whiteboards / slides or in chat
  • Implement appropriate solutions and workarounds when technical challenges occur
  • Coordinate debrief with the facilitator
  • Support with post‑class administration where required
  • Demonstrate patience and empathy with team members and speakers
Project Design & Development
  • Manage and/or participate in learning project management, development and/or shared projects as available or requested, the type of projects and time required for each will vary
  • Collaborate with project teams as per business needs to review content and trainer upskilling programs
  • Liaise with the instructional design team to design programs and provide feedback
  • Work with teams to review designed curriculum
  • Improve existing or future curricula by aligning and collaborating with stakeholders to determine training requirements and timelines
Administration
  • 90% led virtually by direct manager; you will represent Hilton in Singapore Area Office regularly for visibility and collaboration
  • Collaborate across Shanghai and Global Learning Experience, Brands, HR, Talent & Leadership Development, and Make It Right teams
  • Create, schedule, and document as required in the Hilton University (learning management system), to ensure proper participant registration, preparation, and attendance in learning sessions
  • Manage learner communications, providing direction and support as needed
  • Manage schedule and expenses and other projects as assigned
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Prepare other communications and reports as required

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience facilitating instructor‑led learning with 1 year experience with virtual facilitation / production
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and accessibility in all communications across diverse audiences and organizational levels
  • Craft and deliver learning content, presentations, and reports that are engaging, accurate, and tailored to the needs of participants, facilitators, and stakeholders throughout the APAC region
  • Facilitate effective dialogue and feedback, fostering an inclusive learning environment where ideas and information are exchanged openly and respectfully
  • Adapt communication style to suit multicultural contexts, ensuring messages are understood and impactful for team members from varied backgrounds
  • Maintain high standards of grammar, tone, and structure in all written materials, supporting Hilton’s commitment to excellence in learning experiences
  • Demonstrate ability to consult, collaborate and manage multiple regional and global stakeholders and projects
  • Ability to develop and leverage strong relationships
  • Knowledge of instructional design learning evaluation models, and various delivery methods
  • Self‑driven, strategic and creative thinking abilities
  • Ability to identify performance improvement opportunities and gaps
  • Ability to work in an agile environment
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally per business needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Self‑starter, eager to learn, comfortable working autonomously while maintaining virtual collaboration; ability to represent Hilton professionally in Singapore Area Office; analytical mindset for ROI analysis, along with curiosity about new learning technology tools, are required
  • Proficiency in spoken Chinese to work with Greater China & Mongolia (GCM) teams

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of hotel experience in Commercial, Sales or Operations
  • Experience in delivering knowledge and skills based (Brand, Sales, and Leadership) programs
  • Experience working with diverse cultural groups
  • Certified Professional in Talent Development (ATD), Certificate in Human Resource Practice (CIPD) or similar certification
  • Competency in written Chinese to support GCM region in related deliverables
  • Knowledge or fluency in other languages
