Job Summary
The Manager, Digital Systems and Security oversees the Club’s information technology operations across all Clubhouses and ensures the effective management of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and digital systems. The incumbent will lead the IT team in maintaining stable, secure, and efficient IT services while driving digital transformation initiatives to support the Club’s operational and strategic goals. This role also serves as the Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and safeguarding members’ and staff’s data privacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management: Lead and manage an IT team to ensure service delivery across all Club locations; develop departmental workplans, KPIs, IT policies; oversee resource allocation, staff training, performance appraisals; manage budgets and procurement; serve as primary point of contact for IT matters; provide secretariat services for IT Sub-Committee.
- Systems & Network Administration: Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure; ensure system availability, reliability, performance; manage backup systems, disaster recovery procedures; oversee user access control and security configurations; supervise software licensing, updates, renewals; maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies; monitor infrastructure health, proactively address issues.
- Cybersecurity & Data Governance: Act as DPO to ensure PDPA compliance; establish data protection policies, incident response plans, risk assessments; conduct data security audits, penetration tests, awareness training; manage cybersecurity systems; report any data breaches promptly.
- Digital Transformation & Projects: Lead, plan, and implement new IT projects and digital initiatives; evaluate and implement IT solutions; liaise with vendors and service providers; ensure integration with ERP platform.
- Support & Vendor Management: Resolve IT issues and incidents; provide technical guidance, training, support; be on standby for major incidents; manage relationships with vendors; negotiate contracts, SLAs; evaluate vendor performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of managerial experience overseeing IT operations.
- Proven experience as Data Protection Officer with PDPA compliance.
- Hands‑on experience with networking, Windows/Linux, cloud, cybersecurity, data backup.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to be on standby during weekends and public holidays.
