Our client is seeking a proactive and versatile Customer Success and Growth Manager to spearhead their growth in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Customer Success and Growth Manager, reporting to the CEO, will be the first hire in the region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the existing customers, driving new business growth, and helping to establish a strong regional presence.

This will be a very important generalist role, combining customer support, end-to-end sales, project coordination, and product management.

You will collaborate closely with the UK-based technology and operations teams while taking ownership of day-to-day customer interactions and business development in Singapore.

The role will also include on-site product testing and quality assurance (QA), which includes extended periods of walking at deployment sites. The performance of on-site testing will allow you to have hands‑on involvement in the development and enhancement of the product.

The role may require international travel at times.

This is a role based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
  • Address customer questions, providing clear explanations of product features, app functionality, and commercial matters.
  • Liaise with the UK-based technology team to address technical issues as quickly as possible.
Business Development & Sales
  • Generate leads and build relationships with potential new customers.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Own all parts of the sales cycle, working in conjunction with the UK based sales team, from initial outreach through to contract closure.
Project Coordination
  • Support future deployments of the company’s technology in Singapore.
  • Assist with project management tasks to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Collect feedback from customers and deployment partners to improve processes.
Product Management
  • Conduct regular app testing and gather data for existing deployments.
  • Report bugs, usability issues, and improvement suggestions to the UK-based technology team.
Regional Operations and Setup
  • Support the legal and operational establishment of the company’s Singaporean entity and broader regional operation in Southeast Asia.
  • Help set up office infrastructure, processes, and systems to ensure smooth regional operations.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and HR partners to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer success, preferably in deep tech or B2B SaaS.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle and close deals.
  • Technical curiosity and the ability to explain software and technology concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Organised, adaptability, and strong project management skills.
  • Self-starter comfortable working independently as the first hire in a new region.
  • Experience with product testing, quality assurance, data collection, or other product-related tasks would be advantageous.
