Job description
What the role is:

The Transformation Office aims to build an agile, capable, data-driven and youth-centric NYC, powered by passionate and purposeful people. We work across teams, functions, and disciplines to strategise, design, testbed, drive and support digital transformation in NYC.The Manager/ Assistant Manager will play a vital role in addressing youth needs across life stages spanning ages 15 to 35 and develop practicable interventions for NYC to support their transitions and personal development. This position is ideal for a creative and analytical individual passionate about youth engagement and designing customer experiences.This is a one-year contract position with the Transformation Office.

What you will be working on:
  • Propose CX strategies for NYC’s re‑engagement capability, focusing on personalised user experiences and effective youth engagement.
  • Map youth touchpoints and identify pain points in current engagement pathways through user research, staff feedback, and behavioural data analysis.
  • Propose targeted content strategies and engagement approaches based on youth insight and specific transition moments (e.g. post‑secondary education, first job, NS etc).
  • Produce engaging video content and multimedia assets for social media, websites, and other digital platforms for youth engagement.
  • Map user journeys and evaluate programme effectiveness and engagement metrics to develop data‑driven insights.
  • Design and prototype intervention experiences, including email marketing and digital outreach, to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
What we are looking for:
  • Experience in CX, Marketing, Communications, Business or related fields.
  • Experience in customer experience, user engagement, video production & editing for digital marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with video‑editing software.
  • Creative and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
