Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced accounting professional to manage a full spectrum of accounting activities. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, overseeing accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Candidates must have an ACCA or Degree in Accounting, with over 5 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of group consolidation. Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the preparation/review of full spectrum of accounting activities which include but not limit to period-end closing (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually), quick estimate, financial analyses, budgeting & forecasting, cash flow management, GST filing, taxation and financial statements.
  • Timely and accurately preparation of financial and management reports in compliance with the Group and Company policies, procedures and statutory requirement.
  • Responsible for reviewal of payments.
  • Assist in approval of Temporary credit limit and Claim system.
  • Analytical review of financial results.
  • Oversee company and subsidiaries accounts.
  • Preparation of Group consolidation accounts and budget.
  • Preparation of quarterly financial review for AC meeting and reports for shareholders.
  • Assist in accounting software upgrade/implementation, which include but not limit to liaising with vendors, coordinate communication between vendors and staff, system testing etc.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Liaise with internal, external auditors and tax agent.
  • Perform stock-take duty.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties / tasks as required by the Company.
Requirements:
  • ACCA/ Degree in Accounting a must.
  • More than 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in group consolidation is essential.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Good Excel Skills is preferred.
  • Mature and stong leadership skills, opportunity for career advancement.
  • Willing to travel.
