Responsibilities

  • Assist in scheduling and tracking preventive maintenance tasks across equipment and facilities.
  • Monitor and report on Statement of Expense spending to ensure budget alignment.
  • Verify completion of maintenance work orders and ensure compliance with technical standards.
  • Request and manage quotations from approved vendors for maintenance services and equipment.
  • Initiate purchase requisitions and coordinate with procurement teams.
  • Receive and issue maintenance-related purchases and materials.
  • Prepare reports and maintain logs to support audits or inspections.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Facilities Department in Maintenance Planning, SOE Expenses & Payment, documentation and administrative works for Plant Facilities.

a. Preventive Maintenance (PM) Planning Support

  • Assist in scheduling and tracking preventive maintenance tasks across equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure timely follow‑ups and documentation of PM activities.

b. SOE Expense Tracking & Administration

  • Monitor and report on Statement of Expense (SOE) spending to ensure alignment with budget forecasts.
  • Collaborate with finance teams for accurate and timely expense reconciliation.

c. Work Order & Task Completion Validation

  • Verify and validate completion of maintenance work orders and ensure compliance with technical standards and documentation protocols.
  • Support data entry and analysis of maintenance records for continuous improvement.

d. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

  • Request and manage quotations from approved vendors for maintenance services and equipment.
  • Oversee service scheduling, monitor service quality, and ensure timely resolution of vendor‑related issues.

e. Ariba System: Procurement & Payment

  • Initiate purchase requisitions, order approvals, and payment processing via the Ariba platform.
  • Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to resolve system or invoice discrepancies.

h. Inventory & Material Handling

  • Receive and issue maintenance‑related purchases and materials as per operational requirements.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and stock level updates in inventory management systems.

g. Store & Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized and up‑to‑date records of store inventory, tools, and consumables.
  • Support compliance with storage procedures, safety policies, and housekeeping standards.

h. General Administrative Duties

  • Prepare reports, maintain logs, and support audits or inspections as needed.
  • Provide clerical support to the maintenance department, including meeting coordination and communication assistance.
Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma qualification or trade certificate, preferably in Electrical, Mechatronic or Engineering Technology.
  • Relevant computer proficiency level required for using MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. and inventory management software.
  • Preferably more than 3 years of related working experience in manufacturing and facilities maintenance environment.
  • Resourceful problem‑solving ability and willingness to work overtime.
