Job summary

The ideal candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on furnace equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, and collaborate with IT teams on data integration projects. A degree in engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience are required, with strong troubleshooting skills and a focus on condition-based monitoring technologies. The role involves maintaining logs for computerized maintenance systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Direct experience with furnace equipment is advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities with P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control logic diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on key equipment.
  • Minimize production downtime by troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Implement condition-based monitoring using various sensors.
  • Assist in deploying machine learning algorithms with the data analytics team.
  • Integrate sensor and equipment data into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

# "Annealing Furnace" equipment OR "injection moulding"

Working Hours - 9am to 6pm /5days
Location - Tuas
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on key equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
  • Implement condition-based monitoring using sensors (vibration, temperature, pressure, etc.).
  • Assist in deploying machine learning algorithms in collaboration with the data analytics team.
  • Work closely with IT/Digital/Automation teams to integrate sensor and equipment data into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and real-time dashboards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records and prepare for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Qualifications/Required
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Min 3-5 years of working experience in industrial maintenance
  • Direct experience in Furnace Equipment will be advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities; able to interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control logic diagrams.
