Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role of M&E Manager located in Singapore in the Main Construction industry. The M&E Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical and electrical systems of building construction projects. The M&E Manager will work closely with the project team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects, and ensure that all systems meet industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and leading project team, related the M&E matters.
  • Recommending right costing & budget to increase project profits
  • Conducting forecast budget and advise on actual profit or losses to management
  • Implementing bill of material (BOM) and project
  • Ensuring all safety matters requirements met
  • Ensuring project is completed within time frame and budget
  • Making material procurement schedule and planning
  • Liaise with all related stakeholder to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness
  • Quality control and monitoring of sub-contractor work standard, recommend and suggest improvement or made correction
  • Work closely with a Site Manager with the same areas of work
  • Execute, monitor and ensure the timely completion of the project
  • Liaise with the Consultant Representative on project matters
  • Coordinate with Project Manager on the project matters
  • Coordinate with all Subcontractors on matters pertaining to site and quality issues
  • Ensure all contractual requirements are complied with agreed procedures
  • Keeping track on variation and claims of contract and cost impact and feedback information to the Project Manager
  • Co-ordinate with QAQC Engineer to ensure quality performance of project to meet customer requirement.
  • Review project specifications, technical clarification and construction drawings
  • Coordinate with architect, structural engineer and M&E consultant and vendors to resolve construction and installation issues
  • Any other ad-hoc duties related to M&E assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing M&E systems in building construction projects
  • Experience managing a team of professionals, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Familiarity with Building and Construction Authority (BCA) regulations and codes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience with AutoCAD and other relevant software
