Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to monitor site progress and ensure installation quality. Responsibilities include conducting QA/QC inspections, reviewing work for compliance, and coordinating M&E drawings. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Monitor site progress and ensure installation quality in line with approved shop drawings, technical submissions, and the equipment/material procurement, fabrication, and delivery schedule to achieve on-time completion.
  • Review works and products for compliance with specifications and requirements, and provide recommendations for selection.
  • Coordinate M&E drawings and ensure the quality production of CSDs (Combined Services Drawings) and individual service drawings.
  • Conduct QA/QC inspections, manage RE and RTO engagements, and ensure timely clearance of QA/QC inspections to align with the construction schedule.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date site inspection and T&C (Testing & Commissioning) records.
  • Gather and verify cost data for variation orders (VO), review VO works, and provide recommendations for VO pricing.
  • Check, evaluate, and confirm completed work and supplied materials for progress payment purposes, including reviewing and guiding subcontractors/NSC vendors in preparing substantiation documents.
  • Enforce safety standards on site in compliance with IMS safe work methods.
  • Attend daily site coordination meetings and ensure detailed coordination with subcontractors.
