Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is looking for a CAD Technician to develop 3D models and detailed drawings, coordinate M&E services, and maintain documentation. The ideal candidate should have an Engineering Diploma, strong skills in 2D & 3D AUTOCAD, and experience in a team environment. This role requires a self-motivated individual capable of working under pressure and delivering timely results.

Qualifications

• Minimum Engineering Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background required.
• Proficient in 2D & 3D AUTOCAD and familiarity with local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D design drawings based on standards.
• Coordinate all M&E services drawings related to various designs.
• Prepare drawings independently and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• To develop 3D CAD models and draw 2D detail design drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings to relevant drawing standards
• To assist in coordinating all M&E services drawings related to structural, architectural, landscape and interior design
• Prepare drawings independently and review own work prior submissions
• Update and maintain current drawings / documentation
• Discuss ideas or issues to team verbally and written

Requirements

• Minimum Engineering Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background
• Proficient in 2D & 3D AUTOCAD and other desirable software skills (Autocad Revit, BIM)
• Familiar with local building codes
• Familiar with local submission procedures
• Exposure to ISO / drafting standardsBe independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and deliver timely
• Perform as a good team player
