A Logistics Computer System Administrator is a specialized IT professional who ensures the smooth, efficient, and secure operation of technology systems within a supply chain, warehouse, or logistics environment. They act as a bridge between logistics operations and IT infrastructure, handling tasks like Warehouse Management System (WMS) maintenance, user support, data integration, and hardware configuration.

Key Responsibilities
  • System & Application Management: Maintaining and configuring logistics-specific software (e.g., WMS, ERP, SMS) to manage inventory, stock transfers, and purchase requests.
  • Technical Support: Providing IT support for warehouse operations, including troubleshooting, addressing system "bugs," and managing user accounts.
  • Data & Compliance: Managing data integrity, system security, and ensuring compliance with company policies, including data backup and recovery.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Installing and maintaining computer hardware, including servers, handheld scanners, and other IT equipment in warehouses.
  • Process Improvement: Driving initiatives to enhance user performance, adopt new features, and increase warehouse efficiency.
