Job description

Media Ministry is a Christian bookstore. We seek to equip, provide resources and assist churches and mission organisations around the region to help fulfil the Great Commission.

Responsibilities

1. Provides support to the Logistics Operations for incoming shipment/deliveries by assisting the Logistics Supervisor in managing incoming imports/shipments, including:

  • Monitors purchase orders against shipment schedules
  • Handles incoming goods receipt documentation & process, including related financial processes and damaged goods & claim processes
  • Handles quality control and damaged goods claims process
  • Shrink wrapping and display

2. Handles outgoing local deliveries/export:

  • Assists in the fulfillment and packing of sales orders
  • Manages the outgoing local deliveries with other logistics companies/platform
  • Handles outgoing overseas shipments via freight forwarder/courier companies
  • Handles Consignment returns/Purchase returns/Sales returns and related documentation

3. Inventory control and warehouse management

  • Handles inventory transfers between Showroom & Warehouse
  • Manages stock adjustments for damaged products

4. Other adhoc duties if needed include managing booktable and provide customer service to walk‑in or telephone enquires

As a Christian organisation, employees will be required to attend work meetings and Christian fellowship meetings, which start and end with religious activities such as prayers, words of worship and bible sharings Non-Christian employees are not required to participate in the religious activities.

Requirements
  • Diploma in logistics or supply chain management or equivalent is preferred
  • Relevant hands‑on experience in logistics, supply chain management
  • Good with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage the physical loading and unloading of shipments
  • Keen learning attitude and agile to changes
  • Good customer service and follow‑up skills
  • Must have knowledge on Christianity and bible contents to assist customers on Christian product enquiries
