Position

Locum Speech Therapist – 6 months

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech therapy and swallowing assessment / intervention to patients
  • Maximize patients' speech and swallowing potential and improve quality of life
  • Formulate and implement appropriate goals and treatment plans
  • Assess diagnose, manage, and treat swallowing, speech impairments
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Regular review of planned goals and modification of goals in accordance of SMART goals to ensure effective therapy is being delivered
  • Plan future follow up or discharge from ST services based on patients’ performance.
  • Conduct relevant caregiver training effectively to stakeholders to ensure patients care is carried out at home
Project Details
  • 5 full days per week (9.00am - 5.00pm), 8 hours per visit
  • Projected Commencement: from August - September 2025 onwards (Start date is negotiable)
