Job summary

A local aquatic safety company in Singapore is seeking a lifeguard to supervise swimming activities and ensure safety in the pool area. Duties include enforcing pool regulations, performing rescues, and assisting during emergencies. Candidates with or without certification can apply, as training will be provided. Flexibility for shifts and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Certification or prior experience in lifeguard duties is advantageous.
• Candidates with no certification can apply; training will be provided.
• Must be willing to work shifts and weekends.

• Supervise swimming and activities for safety.
• Ensure pool regulations are followed.
• Perform first aid and water rescue when necessary.
• Help with pool preparation and checks.
• Evacuate swimmers during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise swimming and other activities in and around pool area to ensure safety of members and guests
• Assist to ensure pool regulations are being followed
• Remain alert to emergency condition and perform first aid, water rescue when necessary
• Help in pool preparation/checks/reporting when necessary
• Evacuate swimmers from the pool to safety during lightning alerts and/or heavy rain causing poor visibility

Requirements

• Candidates with no certification can apply. Training will be provided.
• Certification or prior experience in lifeguard duties will be advantageous
• For full time positions, candidate must be willing to work shifts and weekends
• Team player, with positive working attitude and good people skills
