Job summary

A leading engineering services provider in Singapore is seeking a LEW Technician responsible for ensuring that facilities are safe and functional. Responsibilities include performing preventive and breakdown maintenance for mechanical and electrical systems, as well as handling customer enquiries. Ideal candidates should possess a valid LEW certificate, Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical and showcase good interpersonal skills. This role requires a positive attitude and offers job training for those without prior experience.

Qualifications

• Possess LEW certificate with EMA or hold a valid Licensed Electrical Worker certification of Grade 7.
• Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical or related field.
• Candidates with 2+ years related experience in Facilities Management preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational activities including customer enquiries and needs.
• Perform preventive and breakdown technical support and maintenance.
• Ensure all LEW paperwork/documentations are completed in accordance to regulatory standards.

Job description

The LEW Technician ensures that facilities are safe and functional by performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities. He/She conducts technical troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical issues in compliance with the quality and safety standards, regulations and organizational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational activities which includes attending to customers' enquiries, needs and complaints
• Perform preventive and breakdown technical support and maintenance for mechanical/electrical services, plumbing & sanitary services, Aircon servicing and maintenance, ACMV systems, chillers, and electrical control
• Ensure all LEW paperwork/documentations are completed and filed in accordance to regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Possess LEW certificate with EMA or hold a valid Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification of Grade 7
• Nitec in Mechanical / Electrical or related field
• Candidates with 2 years or more related experience in Facilities Management will be an added advantage
• No experience is welcome to apply (on Job Training)

• Rotating Shift required (2 shifts, Morning and Afternoon)
