Our client, a well-established real estate development company, is seeking a Legal Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to join their team. This role supports legal, compliance, and governance matters across the business, with exposure to real estate investment activities and regional group governance.
Responsibilities
- Review and manage standard legal documents, including NDAs, service agreements, and other commercial contracts
- Provide legal and compliance support and advisory to internal stakeholders
- Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Plan and execute compliance-related activities, including compliance training, personal data protection management, and periodic review and updating of internal policies
- Support real estate investment and development projects from a legal and compliance perspective
- Liaise with external legal counsel and relevant regulatory authorities when required
- Communicate, explain, and promote group governance policies and standards to employees
- Monitor company activities to ensure alignment with group governance and internal control requirements
- Support internal audits and follow up on corrective and improvement actions
- Coordinate and communicate with HQ governance and internal audit teams as needed
- Handle ad-hoc administrative and compliance-related tasks within the Administration Team

Requirement & Preferences
(Must)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in legal, compliance, governance, or related areas
- Willing to be hands-on in internal compliance and governance operations
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and legal document review tools
Advantageous
- Experience in reviewing standard commercial and corporate agreements
- Experience in legal, compliance, and governance functions
- Knowledge of the Singapore legal system, corporate law, and commercial law
- Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
