Job summary

A leading research organization in Singapore is looking for a self-motivated engineering professional with strong technical skills to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of practical semiconductor experience. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, driving continuous improvement projects, and providing training in process control.   • Systematic troubleshooting of process and equipment-related problems.
  • Take charge of new tools technical assessment and equipment process startup.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to achieve better quality and lower cost.
  • Set up appropriate process and product control plans.
  • Provide technical training on best practices in process control.
  • Conduct yield analysis and continuous process improvement.

Job description

A qualified candidate will be self-motivated with strong technical and analytical skills as well as possess practical and hands‑on approach to engineering process control.

Preferably to have process engineering experience in semiconductor processes (Wet and dry etch, chemical mechanical polishing, wafer/chip bond, Electroplating, photolithography and plasma deposition).

Job Responsibilities
  • Systematic troubleshooting of process and equipment-related problems.
  • To take charge of new tools technical assessment and equipment process startup.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects (CIP) to achieve bett er quality and lower cost.
  • To set‑up appropriate process and product control plan and out of control action plans. (OCAP)
  • Provide technical training to related staff on best‑know practices in terms of process control.
  • Yield analysis and continuous process improvement.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical and Electronics, Material, Physics or Chemical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on semiconductor experience.
  • Possess computer software skills. (i.e. JMP, Minitab, SQL, Visual basic, etc)
  • Knowledge in problem solving and quality control skills. (i.e. ISO, SPC, RCA, DAMIC, DOE, etc)
