Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack software development, including architecture design, front-end and back-end implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Develop front-end architecture and user interfaces utilising modern technologies such as React, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Design and implement robust back-end logic, services, and database integration using Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI), SQL databases, and related technologies.
• Integrate front-end and back-end components with Zael’s data sources and APIs, ensuring seamless functionality and high performance.
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and responsiveness of applications.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and the engineering team to define and implement intuitive and efficient user experiences.
• Mentor and guide software development team members, promoting best practices, continuous improvement, and high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in full-stack development with proficiency in modern frameworks and languages (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Python, Java)
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Solid experience in software architecture, database design, and API development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience or interest in the maritime sector or related fields is beneficial but not required.
