What you’ll be doing
  • Coordinate regular vulnerability scans across systems, applications, and networks using tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanning platforms.
  • Monitor threat intelligence feeds and security advisories to identify emerging vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure vulnerability detection across all environments, including on-premises, cloud, and containerized systems.
  • Support the vulnerability assessment results to assess risk severity and impact.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize vulnerabilities based on business impact, exploitability, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain metrics such as Mean Time to Remediate (MTTR), false positive rates, and vulnerability detection rates to track and improve vulnerability management effectiveness.
  • Work with development, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
  • Track remediation progress and escalate unresolved vulnerabilities to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain dashboards to provide real-time visibility into vulnerability management metrics.
  • Ensure vulnerability management processes align with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Benchmarks.
  • Support audits and compliance assessments by providing documentation and evidence of vulnerability management activities.
  • Manage and optimise vulnerability scanning tools, ensuring up-to-date configurations and integrations with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance vulnerability detection and management capabilities.
  • Reduce organisational risk by ensuring timely identification and remediation of vulnerabilities.
  • Enhance compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Improve overall security posture through effective vulnerability management processes.
  • Works closely with Application Security DevSecOps Specialists, IT teams, and compliance officers to coordinate remediation efforts.
What you’ll bring along
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in vulnerability scanning tools and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning platforms).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how security tools integrate into DevOps workflows.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as OWASP, ISO 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical skills to assess vulnerability impact and prioritise remediation efforts.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
