Job Description

Main Responsibilities :

Reporting to Trader of G&O South & Southeast Asia :

  • As a member of the trading team, support the team in the trading & merchandising activities of G&O products (corn, wheat, SBM, soybeans amongst others), in coordination with global product lines, and regional marketing / execution / finance teams. Including, but not limited to, pricing, negotiation of trades, futures & FX hedging management, overview and optimization of executions / logistics.
  • Participate in collection, input, reporting & analysis of various data / estimates as per product line requirements, in coordination with the rest of the regional teams.
  • Ad hoc business studies preparation & information collection.
  • Develop and strengthen commercial relationships / partnerships with LDC existing and potential customers.
  • Analyze, synthetize and disseminate to relevant parties market / customer / activity information.
  • Participate on desk activity data management (trading activity data feed in front office system, pricing, hedging, position management, etc).
Experience
  • 0‑2 Years in agribusiness or related industry (commodities, feed, flour, shipping, etc) in South & Southeast Asia
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees & management
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and to prioritize.
  • Self‑starter with ability to work independently and to take initiative; proactive attitude toward problems
  • Ability to work in a high‑pressure atmosphere. Flexibility on working time.
  • Entrepreneurial & humble mindset
  • Prior experience in trading / shipping / food / feed industries dealing with the region (Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, etc) preferred, any other entrepreneurial experience a plus
Academics
  • Degree in Business / Accounting / Economics / Agriculture / Trade
