Job summary

A well-established consulting firm in Singapore is looking for a technician to service and repair material handling equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic knowledge, along with good customer service skills. Required qualifications include a diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automotive and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Possess a valid class 3/3A Singapore driving license.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and rectify issues on material handling equipment.
• Carry out electrical and hydraulic repairs.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.

Summary

This role is to service and repair material handling equipment and provide good customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• Analyse, diagnose and rectify issues on material handling equipment.
• Carry out electrical, electrical and hydraulic repairs on equipment and components.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenances.
• Perform modification, commissioning works.
• Communicate and attend to site customer’s request.
• Communicate well with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Undertake Supervisor’s Instruction
• Perform stock take
• Provide support and guide new colleagues
• Attend trainings

Requirements

• Strong Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic knowledge
• Good computer skills
• Able to speak and write English
• Possess valid class 3/3A Singapore driving license ( drive Van )
• Possess customer service mind-set
• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automotive
• At least 2 years’ experience in the technical field such as MHE, cranes, marine equipment, industrial vehicles.
• Able to work on one’s own

Mon to Fri 8.15am - 6pm
