Job summary

A leading public healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication dispensing and pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, maintaining stock organization, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy protocols. Applicants should possess a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or be certified as a Pharmacy Technician. This role requires a commitment to shift work, including weekends. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient.
  • Ensure stocks are maintained properly according to policies.
  • Dispense medications to patients in accordance with guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy and storage areas.
  • Ensure stocks are stored according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO).
  • Perform topping up of omnicell ward stock.
  • Ensure correct receiving of goods.
  • Secondary repackaging/redressing.
  • Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically.
  • Dispensing of medications to patients.

Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
  • Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
  • Perform billing functions
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
  • Ensure stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition
  • Perform topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards
  • Ensure correct receiving of goods
  • Secondary repackaging/redressing
  • Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically according to SOPs
  • Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
Requirements:
  • Possess Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science OR Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC)
  • Open to shift work, including weekends/PH
