Job description
The Junior Finance Executive supports Pink Apple’s day-to-day finance and accounting operations across multiple event projects and business units. This role focuses on accounts support, invoicing, vendor payments, and basic financial tracking, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.

You will report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with the Event, Operations, and Management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance Operations

  • Support accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, including progress and final billings

  • Process supplier invoices, payment requests, and staff claims

  • Assist in tracking event-based costs, budgets, and post-event reconciliations

  • Monitor receivables and payables status and highlight overdue items

  • Assist with monthly bank reconciliations

Reporting & Compliance Support

  • Assist in preparing monthly expense summaries and basic reports

  • Support GST submission, audit schedules, and year-end closing preparation

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation for accounting and compliance

  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors when required

Operational & Admin Support

  • Support event teams with budget tracking and cost control documentation

  • Maintain accurate records for multiple concurrent projects

  • Assist with procurement documentation and vendor onboarding

  • Support continuous improvement of finance processes and controls

Requirements
  • ITE / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

  • 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (fresh graduates welcome)

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

  • Experience or willingness to learn QuickBooks

  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines

  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
