Job summary

A local culinary establishment in Singapore is looking for a talented Jr Sous to ensure the highest quality in dish preparation and kitchen maintenance. The ideal candidate has proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar in a fast-paced environment, strong cooking knowledge, and proven leadership skills. Flexibility to work various hours, familiarity with food safety regulations, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared tothe highest quality and presentation standards .
  • Follow recipes and ensure consistencyacross the section .
  • Ensure the kitchen is maintained to thehighest standards of cleanliness and hygiene .
  • Maintain accurate records of stock andwastage .
  • Ensure that food safety guidelines arefollowed at all times .
  • Assist in the preparation and service ofspecial events and functions as required .

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie orsimilar role in a fast-paced environment .
  • Excellent knowledge of cookingtechniques, ingredients, and equipment .
