Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, document and implement new systems, as well as enhancements and modifications to existing software with code that complies with design specifications and meets security and Java best practices.
• Interact with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology.
• Deliver zero defect code and be responsible for ensuring the team's deliverables meet or exceed business expectations.
• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.

Skills / Competencies

Essential Skills

• Degree/Degree in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• 4–5 years’ experience of Full Stack Java Development in a containerized microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot, with strong UI/UX development experience in React.

Technology Breakdown

• Microservices & Cloud: Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
• Backend Development: Java EE Framework: Spring Boot; ORM Framework: Hibernate; Database: MySQL and/or MongoDB (Open Source); Application Server: Spring Boot; Web Server: JBOSS Web Server.
• Frontend Development: React 18+, HTML5/CSS (knowledge of web page design is a plus).
• Development Tools & Platforms: IDEs: VS Code, IntelliJ; Repository: GitHub; Issue Tracking: JIRA; CI/CD: Jenkins.

Preferred skills

• Strong knowledge of open-source web development tools and modern software engineering practices.
• Cards & payments domain experience.
