Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead L3 production support for critical applications, ensuringhigh availability and quick resolution of incidents.
• Analyze and resolve complex issues in Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams tooptimize performance and reliability.
• Implement best practices for incident management and root cause analysis.
• Automate recurring tasks and improve system efficiency throughscripting and tools.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
• Monitor and analyze application logs, system health, and jobexecutions.

Required Skills

• Core Java Concepts(OOP, Collections, Exception Handling,Multithreading).
• Spring Framework(Spring Boot preferred).
• Incident Management Lifecycle– strong understanding ofITIL processes.
• SQL Query Optimization– ability to write complex queries,use indexes effectively.
• Linux/Unix Basics– log analysis, troubleshootingcommands.
• Shell Scripting– added advantage for automation.
• Autosys– job profiling and scheduling experience.
• DevOps Mindset– familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring tools,and production stability practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with caching (Redis or similar).
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of performance tuning for Java applications.
