Job summary

A technology services company based in Singapore is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive support for mobile devices, desktop systems, and network operations. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Information Technology along with strong troubleshooting skills in Windows and hardware. This role includes responsibilities such as after-hours support and the coordination of repairs, making effective communication skills essential. Candidates with experience in the Food Manufacturing industry will have an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Possess ITE Cert or Diploma in Information Technology or related fields.
  • Experience in installing and troubleshooting Windows OS and software applications.
  • Able to troubleshoot network/phone cabling and audio-visual equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for mobile phones and mobile printers.
  • Coordinate device repairs with vendors and service providers.
  • Provide IT support outside normal office hours when required.
  • Support and coordinate network and telephone cabling works.

Job description
1. FoodMaster & Paperless Mobility (FM/PM) Frontend Device Support
  • Provide support for mobile phones and mobile printers

  • Coordinate device repairs with vendors and service providers

2. IT Support
  • Provide desktop, laptop, software, and printer hardware support

  • Support desktop software applications

  • Manage and maintain antivirus systems

  • Deploy Windows security patches for end-user computers

  • Perform decommissioning of IT equipment in accordance with company policies

3. Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare and submit monthly mobile billing reports

  • Maintain and update hardware and software inventory records

  • Update and manage telephone and mobile line inventory documentation

4. After-Hours Support
  • Provide IT support outside normal office hours when required

5. Network and Telephone Cabling Support
  • Support and coordinate network and telephone cabling works

6. PABX Phone System Support
  • Provide support and maintenance for the PABX phone system

7. Project Support
  • Complete and support IT projects as assigned

Job Requirement
  • Possess ITE Cert or Diploma in Information Technology or related fields

  • Experience in one of these areas:

  • Install, Setup and troubleshoot windows operating system, MS Office, MS Outlook application, Antivirus Software, application software and Windows security patch.

  • Setup and troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware, network printer hardware, mobile phone and mobile printer hardware and mobile application.

  • Troubleshoot desk phone, network/phone cabling issue

  • Troubleshoot audio and visual equipment

  • Have good communications and interpersonal skills

  • Advantage to have experience working in Food Manufacturing industry
