Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and standard applications.
  • Respond to IT support tickets and service requests.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets and support onboarding/offboarding of users.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining networked devices.
  • Perform routine checks for patching, system updates, and backups.
  • Maintain documentation related to support activities.
  • Support video conferencing equipment.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting.

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide first-line technical support to end-users. The role includes diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues, assisting with installations, and ensuring IT-related issues are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices (Windows/macOS).
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and standard applications (MS Office, browsers, antivirus, etc.).
  • Respond to IT support tickets and service requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams as necessary.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets, and support onboarding/offboarding of users.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining networked devices (e.g., printers, scanners).
  • Perform routine checks: patching, system updates, backups, and antivirus scans.
  • Maintain documentation related to support activities and procedures.
  • Support video conferencing equipment and meeting room setups.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting (IP, DNS, connectivity issues).
