Job summary

A technology solutions company in Singapore is looking for a Technical Support professional to manage IT Infrastructure and cybersecurity. The role involves serving as the primary contact for IT-related issues, supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, and ensuring IT security. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in IT management, strong knowledge of security fundamentals, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position with opportunities for regional travel.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing IT Infrastructure and/or cybersecurity.
  • Strong working knowledge of Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Working knowledge of IT security fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to execute core IT tasks independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues.
  • IT asset management, including replacement and maintenance.
  • Maintain and monitor the company’s servers to ensure optimal performance, security, and uptime.
  • Provide support for software-related issues on server and cloud platforms.
  • Administer and support the Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring correct user access, permissions, and security controls.
  • Provide helpdesk and IT support, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, network and connectivity issues.
  • Perform hardware, user access setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, etc.
  • Provide basic IT security awareness training and guidance to employees.
IT Security
  • Manage and maintain security controls across servers, network security, firewalls and hardware.
  • Manage and implement email security measures to protect against phishing, spam and other cyber threats.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures and disaster recovery plan.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IT systems, access, and security processes.
  • Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Ensure secure access and compliance for remote working staff and company-owned devices.
  • Stay up to date with relevant IT and cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 3-5 years of hands‑on experience managing IT Infrastructure and/or cybersecurity
  • Strong working knowledge of Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Working knowledge of IT security fundamentals, including endpoint protection, email security, access control, and basic incident response.
  • Proven ability to personally execute core IT tasks rather than outsourcing key responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and commit fully to a full‑time role.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications (eg. CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to regional offices.
