IT Project Manager (Government ICT Projects)

Working Hours: Mon–Fri

Working Location: Central

Salary Package: Up to $9,000 (basic) + AWS

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead government ICT initiatives. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery—ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met while aligning with IT governance standards and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring deliverables meet objectives.
• Develop and manage project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee and manage ICT infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with business users, internal teams, and external vendors.
• Conduct project meetings, track progress, and report to stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts/issues effectively.
• Ensure user feedback is incorporated into solutions.
• Uphold IT governance and quality standards across all project activities.
• Monitor budgets and ensure financial compliance.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and challenges.
• Make data-driven decisions to support project goals.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in IT Project Management, with exposure to full SDLC and Agile methodology.
• Previous hands-on development experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptualization skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Project Management certifications (CITPM, COMIT, PMI) are advantageous.
• Proven ability to deliver projects and produce project management artifacts.
