Job description

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of turnkey system solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and coordination with vendors and customers to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end project delivery, ensuring completion of project milestones and deliverables.
• Perform hardware and software installation for turnkey solutions.
• Prepare and execute Statements of Work (SOW), system handover documents, and inventory records.
• Coordinate with external parties, vendors, and customers to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in System Acceptance Testing (SAT) with vendors and clients.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system and integration issues.
• Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, network topologies, and diagrams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in system implementation or project engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Linux (CentOS, SUSE) environments.
• Good understanding of networking technologies (e.g. Dell, Cisco), firewalls (e.g. Fortinet), and fiber-optic transmission devices.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem – HDFS, ZooKeeper, Cloudera, Hue, Apache, ElasticSearch) with implementation and maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in virtualization platforms is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
