Systems / IT Engineer

Location: Singapore

Education / Experience

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform IT System Day-2 operations, including fault isolation, troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Assist in testing activities, including diagnosing system or application defects and providing remediation or workarounds.
• Ensure timely, clear, and concise communication across all stakeholders.
• Understand procurement processes and manage COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) software, including support renewals.
• Liaise with customers and vendors to drive issue resolution and ensure service continuity.
• Review existing customer workflows or system functionalities, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and engineering support activities to meet project SLAs.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers and vendors effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas and technical solutions to management and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas is an advantage: Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
