Job summary
A technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a candidate for hardware support and maintenance. The role involves hardware testing, client interaction for security clearance, and vendor management. The ideal applicant holds a diploma and has some experience in a similar role. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 0830 to 1800 with potential overtime compensated with time off.

- Must be able to examine and test hardware functionalities.

Overview
- Main areas:
- Computer hardware components and system i.e., Current best motherboards, best processor chips, Routers, Splitters, etc
- Knowledge on essentials of audio equipment/components, audio jacks etc.
- Able to examine and test hardware functionalities, troubleshoot issues if any, or even improve current performance if possible.
- Able to work with software engineers/developers to integrate software with hardware.
- Of course, stay updated (own knowledge/interest) of new technologies, thus able to contribute to hardware design.
Responsibilities
- Support Client in reviewing/processing personnel security clearance related to vendors
- System Warranty and Maintenance (manage vendors performing the works)
- Support procurement activities
- Handle ad-hoc hardware/software replacements
- Implement system security enhancements/integration
- Logistic Coordination for training courses
- Support Client in reviewing/managing training content
- Support Client in annual reviews of manuals
- Provide Operational Support in special events and exercises
- Any other relevant responsibilities or tasks assigned
Requirments:
- A diploma holder / ITE / A-Level
- Someone who has some experience in a similar role
Other info
- Candidate will be reporting/stationed at our office at AMK less performing maintenance at customer’s site (example only - morning go to site for maintenance task, afternoon back at AMK).
- Maintenance Frequency per project.
- For unscheduled maintenance (Ad-Hoc), candidate liaise with customer POC prior proceed to site for rectification works.
- Liaison with customer’s POC prior maintenance e.g., arrange maintenance schedule with customer’s POC.
- First-line of managing our vendors/contractors (will be taught what is what).
- Other duties would be own general admin, preparing maintenance checklist, etc. primarily related to maintenance documentation.

- Working hours: 0830 to 1800, Monday to Friday
- For OT if any, compensation is Off-in-lieu (not monetary)
