IT Engineer/Manager

We are a Singapore‑based leading FinTech group companies with a strategic focus on the Non‑Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector in Pakistan. We are looking for an IT manager with the initiatives targeting NBFC opportunities of Pakistan.

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Full‑Time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT team, including recruitment, mentoring, and performance management.
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks.
• Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives, including cybersecurity, cloud migration, and digital innovation.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of hardware/software solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity.
• Monitor system performance and implement upgrades as needed.
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Pakistani nationality and Singapore permanent resident or employment pass holders.
• Will work and fully abide by the company’s arrangements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive IT experience.
• Strong technical expertise in areas such as network administration, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and database management.
• Proven experience managing IT projects, budgets, and teams in a corporate environment.
• Excellent communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Java Development Engineer

The Java Development Engineer will be a key member of our core development team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑performance, scalable, and secure backend systems for our financial technology platforms. The ideal candidate will be a Pakistani national with Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) status, possessing strong technical expertise, a passion for technology, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative setting.

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in the module design and coding development of core business systems.
2. Complete development tasks, debugging, unit testing, and maintenance according to project plans; ensure the quality and timely delivery of assigned business modules.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during system testing and maintenance phases; perform system and performance optimization.
4. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product managers, QA engineers, etc.) to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
5. Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code adhering to company standards.
6. Conduct code reviews and contribute to the team’s knowledge sharing.
7. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose improvements.
8. Complete other related tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

1. Eligibility: Pakistani nationality with valid Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) status.
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in Java development.
3. Technical Foundation:
   • Solid foundation in Java programming (IO, Collections, Multi‑threading).
   • Good programming practices and understanding of JVM principles and performance tuning.
4. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and logical thinking abilities. Capable of independently completing system design and coding based on product requirements and producing system design documentation.
5. Database: Experience with MySQL and familiar with performance optimization techniques.
6. Mindset: Passionate about technology research and possesses a strong learning capability.
7. Language: Professional proficiency in English is required for effective workplace communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the Financial Technology (FinTech), Banking, or Financial Services industry.
• Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks) is a plus.
