Responsibilities
Device Setup, Decommissioning & Configuration
- Set up new laptops and desktops for end users (Windows).
- Configure user profiles, network settings, and required software.
- Perform laptop formatting and OS reinstallation (e.g., Windows 11).
- Set up and configure iPhones for corporate use, including:
- Email setup
- VPN configuration
- MDM enrollment
- Handle decommissioning for offboarding employees (data wiping, device retrieval, documentation), ensuring smooth and secure transitions.
Device Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform basic hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Restore iPhones to factory settings when needed.
- Replace basic components (RAM, SSD, battery) if trained to do so.
Software Installation & Support
- Install and update commonly used software (Office 365, Zoom, Adobe, etc.).
- Troubleshoot software-related issues and access problems.
- Maintain accurate application license records.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Track and update IT inventory (laptops, mobiles, accessories).
- Assign and unassign equipment to users in the inventory system.
- Conduct routine audits and reconcile physical assets with digital records.
User Support
- Handle IT service desk tickets and resolve Level 1 support issues.
- Reset passwords, unlock accounts, and guide users through basic technical issues.
- Provide remote assistance using tools such as TeamViewer or Microsoft Quick Assist.
Microsoft Intune & Azure Active Directory
- Enroll and manage devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Apply configuration profiles, compliance policies, and app deployments.
- Add and manage users and groups within Azure AD.
- Understand and implement Conditional Access policies.
SharePoint Online (Intranet & Document Library)
- Design and develop a modern SharePoint Online intranet portal.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define site structure.
- Build templates, pages, libraries, lists, and workflows to support business processes.
- Maintain and update intranet content and functionality.
- Manage site permissions and access controls for security and compliance.
- Provide training and support to end-users, content owners, and administrators.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint enhancements to implement improvements.
Cybersecurity Awareness & Support
- Follow security best practices when managing data and credentials.
- Support patch management and endpoint protection tools (Defender, CrowdStrike, etc.).
- Respond to phishing reports and elevate incidents appropriately.
- Assist in enforcing MFA, password policies, and user security awareness initiatives.
Digital Transformation Projects
- Perform ad-hoc duties, digitalization initiatives, and tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Contribute to the improvement of corporate processes through efficient digital solutions.
Requirements
- Diploma in Information System, Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant fields.
- Knowledge of Windows OS (including Windows 11) and Microsoft O365.
- 1–2 years of experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
- Familiarity with iOS device setup and Apple ID management.
- Ability to follow setup SOPs and workflows with attention to detail.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and SharePoint Online.
- Strong organizational skills to manage IT inventory and record updates.
- Basic cybersecurity awareness (threat identification and safe practices).
- Willingness to elevate complex issues to Level 2 or Security teams.
- Working knowledge of JIRA is an added bonus.
