Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade wired and wireless network infrastructure across construction sites, commercial buildings, and SMB/enterprise environments. This role requires specialised technical expertise in LAN, WAN, wireless bridge, and Wireless Access Point (WAP) deployments, supporting mission‑critical IT and operational systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN and WAN network infrastructure for enterprise and site environments
- Plan and deploy wireless bridge solutions (point‑to‑point and point‑to‑multipoint) for device and site‑to‑site connectivity
- Install, configure, and optimise Wireless Access Points (WAPs) for indoor and outdoor coverage
- Perform advanced network configuration including VLANs, IP addressing, routing, NAT, and QoS
- Plan and deploy CCTVs and apply configuration and troubleshooting of the same
- Conduct wireless site surveys, link planning, and network performance analysis
- Monitor network availability, performance, and security
- Troubleshoot complex wired and wireless network issues across multiple locations
- Implement network security best practices in accordance with company policies
- Maintain detailed technical documentation including network diagrams and IP plans
- Coordinate with construction teams, IT vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders
- Support network expansion, migration, and upgrade projects
Job Requirements
- Education: Engineering Degree in Electronics / Computer Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in network engineering roles
- Proven experience supporting construction, enterprise, or multi‑site network environments
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in TCP/IP networking and enterprise network architecture
- Hands‑on experience with LAN, WAN, wireless bridge, and WAP deployment
- Experience with managed switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex network issues
- Other Requirements: Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Willingness to perform on‑site work at construction or client locations
- Strong communication skills for cross‑functional coordination
Preferred Skills
- Experience with outdoor or long‑distance wireless links
- Familiarity with Ruijie Hikvision, Ubiquiti, Cisco, MikroTik, Aruba, or equivalent platforms
- Exposure to CCTV, access control, or IoT network integration
- Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA or equivalent
