Job summary

A semiconductor manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking individuals for a role focused on providing first-line IT support. Responsibilities include system troubleshooting, monitoring alerts, and performing routine checks. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in IT or related fields and have basic system knowledge, preferably including SQL or Power BI. This position requires a willingness to work rotating shifts and a commitment to teamwork. Training will be provided for those without experience.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, ITE or Polytechnic Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of IT systems; exposure to SQL or Power BI is a plus.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for system troubleshooting and recovery.
• Monitor systems and respond to alerts or issues.
• Follow SOPs to perform routine system checks.
• Update daily operation reports.
• Support simple automation and operational tasks.
• Ensure proper handover during shift changes.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, ITE, or Polytechnic Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of IT systems; exposure to SQL or Power BI is a plus.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts.
• Able to follow procedures and work in a team.
• Candidates with no experience are welcome; training will be provided.
