Job description

We are seeking a proactive and organized IT Admin to provide operational and administrative support to our IT department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and is meticulous with documentation, tracking, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the IT team, including meeting scheduling, internal coordination, evaluates and documentation management.
  • Track and follow up on IT service requests and incident reports to ensure timely resolution and closure.
  • Prepare, consolidate, and maintain regular reports (weekly/monthly) for management review.
  • Support small-group IT briefings or user readiness sessions (e.g., service request processes).
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory, including tagging, records, licenses, and warranties.
  • Liaise with vendors, internal users, finance, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices.
  • Review incident and service request data periodically to identify trends and propose service improvements.
  • Coordinate IT hardware and software procurement, including sourcing, quotation comparison, negotiation support, and purchase tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with IT documentation standards and internal procedures.
  • Suggest improvements to SOPs and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Nitec or Diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience in IT administration, IT support coordination, asset management, or procurement is an advantage.
