Job summary

A leading asset management firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to assist their investment team with fixed income portfolios. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in asset management, possess a strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, and demonstrate excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin. Responsibilities will include pre-trade analysis, monitoring portfolio risk metrics, and supporting day-to-day activities in client portfolios.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related experience in asset management and fund management.
• CFA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist investment team with the analysis required, especially the fixed income portfolios (eg. REITS, bonds)
• Perform pre-trade portfolio analysis and prepare orders for investment team as well as pre and post-trade compliance checks
• Monitor portfolio risk metrics by generating reports and analysing model scenarios to support the investment team decision making
• Provide support for day-to-day activity in client portfolios and funds
• Work closely with the investment and trading team to monitor real-time activities
• Develop marketing, servicing and educational materials, including marketing and servicing presentations, monthly commentaries, quarterly investor reports, whitepapers, and other materials for publication
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance or an equivalent advanced degree preferred
• At least 3 years related experience in asset management and fund management
• Strong knowledge of fixed income instruments/REITs, markets, and the investment process preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to effectively interact across different functions
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to speak fluent Mandarin is essential due to the job requirements to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients
• CFA certification is a plus
