Job summary

The successful candidate will oversee stock accuracy, ensure timely updates to the ERP/WMS systems, and participate in continuous improvement projects within Supply Chain operations. Job Summary:

The Inventory Controller is responsible and accountable for controlling all warehouse inventory processes, activities and transactions. Control and drive continuous improvement for stock accuracy, efficient order picking, pick location replenishment, inbound/outbound goods. Well manage both ERP and WMS system.

Job Description:
  • Responsible and accountable for controlling all warehouse inventory processes, activities and transactions.
  • Control and drive continuous improvement for stock accuracy, efficient order picking, pick location replenishment and inbound goods.
  • Govern all inventory related adjustments identifying trends and implementing preventative measures to increase visibility and inventory accuracy.
  • Manage the life cycle of Ageing items in advance and mitigating risk through increased sales opportunities and tactical substitutions
  • Complete investigations into all discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory.
  • Responsible on timely update of the WMS/ERP system to ensure no error during picking.
  • Manage Delivery team ensure timely return of Delivery Order for recording.
  • Define and regularly review the warehouse processes to ensure beneficial impact to our operations.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient flow of all shipments and manage inventory of all products on monthly and annual basis.
  • Participate in meetings with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Participate and assist the Warehouse Manager in all improvements / optimization projects for Supply Chain.
  • Manage the periodic and year end stock takes, organize the count teams, and supervise the physical count process. Lead the investigations and work with the Finance department for the inventory reconciliation and initial result within the same day.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma level or its equivalent.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of contemporary Supply Chain and inventory processes and procedures.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills, coupled with demonstrated ability to work to tight and conflicting deadlines.
  • Experience in MS-Offices, ERP and WMS platforms
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skill
  • Possess at least 2 years of relevant experiences
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Able to work 5.25 days a week (with alternate Saturdays)
