The Role

We have an opportunity for an Interior Designer to join us in the commercial space, creating practical and future focused solutions. The opportunity will focus on the exercise of design skills, technical knowledge and document preparation in the delivery of client projects.

Responsibilities will include:

Collaborate across project teams to develop creative, practical design concepts and solutions in line with client brief, scope and deliverables.

  • Partner with clients to understand their culture and needs, delivering designs that exceed expectations.
  • Develop design solutions with mentorship from senior designers.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Business Development and Construction to deliver seamless project experiences.
  • Incorporate global best practice into the design, think laterally and provide creative and innovative solutions.
Who We Are Looking For

This role will suit someone highly experienced in commercial interior design, who can work flexibly and is committed to continual growth and improvement. Must have tertiary qualification in interior design or architecture.

  • Diploma/Degree qualified in Interior Design, Architectural Design, or similar is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to visually communicate design concepts.
  • Strong design visualisation skills including sketching, hand drawing as well as fluency in Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD and Adobe graphics programs.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
